A note from Mrs. Naughton

This has been an exciting week at BGRCS.  Our play will be held on Trusday, Friday and Saturday.  It is a wonderful family event.  The students have worked long and hard on this play.  I urge you to come and see the play.  I know you will enjoy it.

"Bring flowers of the fairest and bring flowers of the rarest"...Please join us next week for our May Procession at Corpus Christi Church.  this is a lovely tradition that is part of our Catholic identity.

I will be writing my usual letter to you next week.

SCRIP NEWS - May 7, 2008

This is the last week to order Scrip for credits for the current school year.  All Scrip Accounts will be updated and finalized for this year by May 14, 2008.  Letters will be sent out to those families that have reached their requirement and have earned additional credit.  For those families that have not reached their requirement, invoices will be sent out with the amount that is owed.

Please be advised that from May 12, 2008 forward all Scrip orders are to be directed to Mrs. Lisa Botto, who has volunteered her service for the 2008-09 school year.

Remember, everyone must fill out a scrip form or they won't receive their credits.   You can find and print out a scrip order form by clicking here.  You will still need to fill out a form if picking up Acme, ShopRite, Kohl's etc. from the office.  Forms are available at the office if needed.  Grocery and Kohl's scrip will be available at the school office.

Would you consider a sponsorship of a monetary award for a deserving 8th grade graduate?  Please contact us if you are interested in awarding an 8th grader in the area of Personal Character, Academic Excellence, Spiritual Awareness, Community Service or any other quality that you desire.  Awards may take the form of memorial awards or as simply a gift of your business.  Your business will be listed in the Awards Program and you would be most welcome to present your award in person at the awards ceremony June 9th at 6pm.

Tuition Assistance

SMART Tuition Aide Analysis has been selected by our school to conduct financial need assessments for families that need assistance in paying tuition.  The application process is fair and confidential.

If you would like to apply for tuition assistance, the applications are available from the school business office or you may apply online at www.smarttuitionaid.com.

Our school ID is 30105.  Other code numbers you will need are as follows:  Active Catholic - CM001 or Non-Catholic - CM002.

Nurse News: CAP (Child Abuse Prevention) Classes for all parents.  Check the schedule here for dates and times.

Lunch Account Balances:  At anytime, you may send a note to Nutri-serve and request a balance.  Neither the school office nor the business office has access to this information.  Please direct your inquiry to Leslie (Nutri-serve in the cafeteria).  We are in need of volunteers for lunch duty, both inside in the cafeteria and outside on the playground from 11:30 to 1:00pm.  If interested, please contact the office.  Thank you!

Bobcat Car Magnets are for sale at the office, $5.00 each.  What a great way to show your school pride!

School Store is open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:15-9:00am.  The store has basic supplies......... Pencils, crayons, markers, color pencils, copy books, folders etc..  Please send money in an envelope labeled "School Store".  For younger students, please write what you want them to purchase on the envelope.

Uniform Closet Update - The Uniform closet is open to all Bobcat Families to exchange or search for items they need. If you have BGRCS uniforms you no longer need, please drop them off at the office.  The Uniform Closet is open along with the school store on Tuesday and Thursday mornings form 8:15- 9:00 am.
